As

Field Application Engineer located at our office in

Ann Arbor you will be responsible to support our international (focus on US) customers during the introduction and operation of ESCRYPT’s Embedded Security Software Portfolio (CycurHSM, CycurLIB, CycurTLS). These in-vehicle security products are integrated into an AUTOSAR or non-AUTOSAR environment and support the system with security functions.

Your tasks will include:

  • Pre-sales support:
    • Support the local sales force in design-in activities at customers with emphasis on the technical product features
    • Embedded security software related product presentations (on-site, at conferences as well as remotely)
    • Collaboration with our product development teams to continuously improve our products
    • Requirement elicitation and feedback during acquisitions projects
    • Feasibility studies and prototyping of innovative and customer specific solutions
    • Creation of application notes and sample code
  • Post-sales support:
    • Support customer embedded software integration efforts as they integrate ETAS/ESCRYPT product into their systems
    • Configuration of ETAS/ESCRYPT embedded security software products
    • Technical support and trainings related to our embedded security software products On-site as well as remotely)
  • FAE Community:
    • Exchange of know how and support within the global FAE community
  • Maintenance of the global FAE knowledge base

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Academic degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, IT security or similar
  • Minimum three years of practical experiences in automotive/embedded SW development in C/C

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Automotive Quality and development processes
  • Basic skills in project management
  • A good understanding of C, low level micro controller programming, and of real time software development is mandatory.
  • In-Depth knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
    • Embedded security software
    • Automotive embedded software
    • Low level programming of automotive microcontrollers / microprocessors
    • AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive
