Job Description

Robert Bosch LLC is looking for a Software Engineer to fulfill the role of Technical Plant Interface at our Plymouth, MI location. This position is responsible for primary contact, coordination, and deployment of the Technical Plant Interface operations within Engineering System Test team. The Technical Plant Interface is a key role in the successful, on-time delivery of software into our Bosch Production System.

Below is a highlight of the things you would being working on and responsible for:

  • Work directly with internal customer teams to launch software into our production, sample, and quality systems.
  • Align release scope and timing across a multitude of customer project teams
  • Secure customer hardware and related resources for release testing
  • Navigation of cyber security for our CC products in system test preparation
  • Support regular meetings within Bosch (cross functional and expert level)
  • Test execution at our laboratories end-of-line and re-programming stations
  • Maintenance and adjustment of the end-of-line test station (hardware and test scripts)
  • Support Plant Interface Services software delivery within internal Bosch database and SAP environment
  • Support laboratory infrastructure and related operations within our team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related IT/Technology fiel
  • 3+ years’ experience with testing, debug and/or maintenance in IT or laboratory setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of embedded systems, software test, and programming skillset
  • Knowledge of SAP or bill of material (BOM) handling work experience
  • Proven team player with desire to make an impact at the local and global levels
  • Strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and innovative thinking
  • Strong leadership skills and highly self-motivated
  • Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills (solid English second language skill)
  • Capable of working independently in an organized and structured fashion
