Job Description
Responsibilities- Create, manage, and execute testing plan in cooperation with product development team and customer
- Gather and analyze data from functional, durability, environmental and misuse tests of product
- Write and publish test reports that include judgement and conclusion based on gathered data and analysis
- Work with test lab technicians to ensure accuracy and repeatability of test set up and data collection
- Use methodical problem-solving approach to find root cause of test failures or diagnose problems with test set up
- Review customer requirements and align feasibility with product development team and customer for new tests
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering to include Mechanical and Mechatronics
- 5+ years’ experience in automotive product development or testing
- Product development experience – including work package planning, and evaluation of product performance against requirements
- Programming knowledge and practical experience in MATLAB, Python or other
- Testing experience with complex electromechanical systems or suspension components in Tier 1 automotive supplier
- German Language skills
