At UWM, Enterprise Architects define the vision, strategy and goals to support the growth of the business and the maturity of the IT organization. As part of the team you will help in maintaining UWM's position as the financial services industry technology and innovation leader.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Strategic Initiatives:
  • Works with OCTO Strategic Advisory Council to define the vision, strategy and goals to support the growth of the business and the maturity of the IT organization.
  • Manages the strategic technology road maps specific to the assigned key strategic initiatives
  • Working with OCTO Leadership, technology teams and appropriate business leadership, helps to define and execute against the assigned key strategic initiatives
  • Leverages experience in project portfolio management to facilitate and communicate a clear set of priorities and business value across all strategic initiatives, corporate projects and technology investments

Execution:
  • Provides leadership oversight and strategic direction across all technology teams involved in the execution of a specific strategic initiative, facilitating best practices for organizational agility, execution efficiency and change management
  • Conducts and manages business case analysis for assigned technology initiatives (ROI & SWOT Analysis)
  • Provides input and collaboration for relevant management presentations and other key stakeholder communications

Partnerships:
  • Establishes & oversees strategic relationships with key external partners (ex. Mongo, Google, etc.) to help drive innovation, broaden technical capabilities and accelerate time to market
  • Provides input to the Technology Review Committee (TRC)
  • Consults with the Technology Advisory Council on specific organizational changes and approach to strategic initiatives that will affect the IT teams

Innovation:
  • Provides thought leadership and leverages best practices for design concepts and organizational agility to foster innovation across all technology teams
  • Participates in key corporate project initiatives to provide strategic direction
  • Provides input to the creation and growth of product teams and agile transformation
  • Attends and participates in relevant industry events
  • Works closely with Application Development and Enterprise Technology in early planning phases of projects to provide strategic alignment

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Proven experience in defining IT product strategy and roadmaps
  • Experience managing a portfolio of multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience managing strategic relationships with partners and vendors
  • Experience in ROI & SWOT analysis
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience
