- We are seeking a hands-on, self-starter and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills; the ability to productively work remotely and onsite as needed.
- Must be flexible and able to multi-task to meet deadlines set by external agencies to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
- Under supervision, project manager will be a key contributor supporting our Application Services applications and manage a variety of projects, including request for proposals (RFP), infrastructure upgrades, application enhancements and new development, and implementation of COTS/vendor applications with multiple integrations.
- Should possess high level understanding in the areas of project management methodology, web application programming, content management systems, API, database, and system design. Identification of the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
- Advocate for change and effectively communicate project value, including navigating individual viewpoints and building consensus.
- Manage scope throughout the project duration; Manage detailed project tasks by interfacing with team members, correlating work to a Work Breakdown Structure, and ensuring team members track time appropriately to project tasks
- Manage tasks and resources relating to support, maintenance, and enhancements of existing applications for County Departments, where applicable.
