Apollo Fire Apparatus Repair, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for an immediate in-house (shop) service technician for an over 50 year old Fire Apparatus Repair and Service company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accident damage repair
- Electrical diagnosis and repair, plumbing repair
- Oil changes, preventative maintenance
- Annual service and testing
-Installation of lighting, equipment, refurbishment of apparatus
Requirements for the successful candidate include:
- Valid driver's license (CDL-B a plus)
- Clean driving record and employment record
- Excellent customer service skills
-Willingness to work occasional overtime and flexibility to learn/assist in other areas
Preference to those with:
-Experience in Fleet Maintenance, truck repairs, electrical repairs
-Light fabrication skills and MIG / TIG welding a plus
-CDL license is a plus (CDL-B a plus)
Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certified candidates are preferred, but will consider those with fire apparatus repair and/or truck - auto repair experience.
