We are looking to build our sales team here at Duncan's Outdoor Shop!
This position performs various selling/ customer service activities to include greeting and acknowledging all customer upon entry of the facility, handling merchandise including firearms and ammunition, and provide information on offered services. This position requires a willingness to learn the firearm industry and customer service.
Job Duties:
-Greet all guests upon entry of the facility
-Operate a cash register
-Handle firearms in a safe manner
-Restock and clean the facility as needed.
-Follow all company policies and procedures
-Must be proficient with computers. Our infrastructure includes internet and e-mail, word processing, graphics, multimedia, spreadsheets, databases, programming, and scripting.
THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION. 40+ HOURS PER WEEK.
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift, push and/ or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
-Ability to stand and/ or walk for long periods of time
-Ability to use a ladder and/ or pallet jack
-Close vision for computer work
-Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
-Ability to walk up and downstairs multiple times per day
-Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally with all audiences (in person or via telephone)
