- Own the closing process, including journal entries account reconciliations, flux analysis, controls, and the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.
- Supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities while actively considering management's objectives.
- Manage, prepare, and present month-end, quarterly, and annual for internal and external reporting requirements.
- Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions.
- Multinational subsidiary advice and monthly consolidation.
- Manage oversight of key third party resources, supporting accounting, tax, legal, equity and compliance-related needs for the business.
- Analysis of pertinent accounting standards and provide well-supported documentation of positions, recommendations, and conclusions.
- Design, implement, maintain, and enforce company policies, processes, and internal controls (financial transactions and financial reporting).
- Act as a key cross-functional business partner to the CFO and others within the organization by preparing ongoing key deliverables and contributing to strategic projects and initiatives as needed.
- Assist in administration of QuickBooks and be the lead financial user.
- Lead accounting transformation projects, including continued improvement and utilization of QuickBooks.
- Manage annual GAAP audit process, with ongoing audit risk assessment throughout the year.
- Analyze trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
- Draft presentations and related analysis for senior management including both monthly reporting packages and ad hoc materials
- Partner with functional and operational leaders to provide insights on monthly financial and operational performance
- Support the annual budgeting process and assist in the development of the forecasting models by coordinating the collection, analysis, and delivery of the forecast data
- Provide finance leadership and accountability in the acquisition cycle from deal support through integration and handoff to the accounting team
- Assist in preparation of reporting documentation to management, Investors and the bank on a cyclical basis
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, with solid experience as a Controller.
- Ideal experience includes a mix of staffing, software services, product development companies.
- Experience with international operations and consolidation of subsidiaries.
- CPA preferred, with a strong understanding of GAAP.
- Experience in revenue forecasting, business partnering and excel modeling
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics and/or similar quantitative discipline, MBA a plus.
- Experience with QuickBooks is required,
- Highly analytical and data driven.
- Strong problem solving and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and comfortable interacting with all levels of management.
- Curious, motivated, collaborative, flexible, and responsive team player with a strong company growth focus.
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Required Degree or Certification: Bachelor degree required, Master's degree preferred
