- Lead collaboration with internal/external stakeholders to
- Design packaging structures for system/parts
- Prepare and release planning drawings.
- Monitor quality related concerns and pro-actively participate in their resolution.
- Plan and manage schedule for responsible parts/system.
- Monitor project health and provide status reports to Management.
- Some overtime may be required to ensure output is on-time for key milestones
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years combined years of total engineering experience that must include both body design and electrical systems design experience.
- 2 years' experience in resolving Field issues
- 4 years demonstrated abilities in planning/scheduling, multi-tasking and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
- 4 years proficiency in CATIA V5 for 3D data and drawing preparation.
- Proficient in leading variable workforce and/or Design-In members
- Experience in using simulation software such as Computer-Aided Engineering (structural/vibration) or CST studio suite (EMC/EMI) Electromagnetic capability and Electromagnetic interference
- Experience in all stages of Vehicle development (Full Model change or Major-Minor model change)
- 4 years' experience negotiating with Styling group and cross functional departments
- Some experience in design of electrical systems/parts including wire harness routing and spec issuance.
- 4 years' experience in design of other ADAS systems such as Panoramic View Monitor, Sonar and Blind Spot Monitor or Headlamp ECU
- Japanese language capability
