Billing Analyst

Description We are in search of a Billing Analyst to be part of our team, located in SOUTHFIELD, Michigan. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Billing Analyst, you will be involved in various responsibilities including transactional invoicing, assisting with customer invoicing, and maintaining general accounting knowledge. Your expertise in SAP, Billing, Credit Analysis, and MS Excel will be highly utilized.Responsibilities: Assist with the invoicing process for customers Handle transactional invoicing tasks efficiently Maintain general accounting knowledge to support financial operations Utilize SAP or ERP system knowledge for various tasks Conduct credit analyses as part of the job function Ensure accurate customer records are maintained Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Leverage MS Excel skills for data management and reporting. Requirements Possess strong proficiency in SAP software for efficient billing operations Demonstrated experience in billing and credit analysis to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoices Proficient in MS Excel for data management and analysis Ability to quickly identify and resolve billing discrepancies or errors Excellent analytical skills to interpret billing operations and data Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with customers and internal teams Proactive in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of billing procedures and practices High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling billing information Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently Ability to work in a team to achieve common goals Demonstrated problem-solving skills to handle any billing issues or discrepancies Ability to adhere to confidentiality and data privacy guidelines Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
