We Are Hiring(RN) Registered Nurse, Psychiatric Nursing Unit Ascension Providence, Southfield Campus Part Time Days Sign on Bonus Eligible Experienced Registered Nurses are eligible up to a $10,000 sign on bonus in this position.Nurses with less than 1 year of experience are eligible up to a $5,000 sign on bonus in this position. Schedule: Day shift, 7a-730pm, 24 hours per week; 12 hour shifts. Rotating weekends and holidays. We are a destination for specialty care. Unit description: We are a 25 bed unit and care for patients 18 years of age and up. The department supports all areas of Mental Health disorders with the exception of Developmentally Delayed or Dementia patients. Ascension Providence Hospital - Southfield is a full-service hospital with 24/7 emergency care, a Level II Trauma Center, and a Primary Stroke Center. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
