Kelly Services is seeking an QA Tester (Automation) for one of our leading clients. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (days); overtime/weekends possible at times (rare) It is preferred that the candidate is local to either Southfield, MI or Whitehouse, OH so they can work a hybrid schedule. Some travel possible between the Southfield and Whitehouse sites. Remote candidates will also be considered. Job brief Join the testing development to ensure the highest quality of Digital Products are released for use in the world market. The position is part of our quality & assurance testing team that designs and executes test plans for each release. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing test scripts, providing operational support within a DevOps context, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities
  • Write and execute test cases, manual or automated with respect to
  • Cypress and Selenium or Blaze Meter and analyze results
  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Collaborate with our team of software testers to develop effective
  • strategies and test plans
  • Create and manage artifacts, reports, and logs to document testing phases, outcomes, and defects
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams using Microsoft DevOps
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Provide or coordinate with production operations support
Requirements
  • Expertise in writing automated testing is required (Cypress /Selenium / Blazemeter / Jmeter)
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance or similar roles
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a necessary
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems / Technology, or relevant certification in test automation
