Job Description
We are looking for a qualified IT Technician that will install and maintain Desktop and Server computer systems as well as network switch and firewall configuration and maintenance. Aiming for the highest functionality. The role includes assisting with the implementation, support and maintenance of all information technology products and services. Ensuring system availability, usability, and survivability. Assisting with development of IT services and solutions to effectively meet the future needs of clients and users. Ensures that IT services are seamless, transparent, and effectively delivered, and that problems are promptly resolved. Coordinating IT activities with other departments and stakeholders. Providing technical support to users as needed, diagnoses and resolves problem tickets, and monitors applications, system security, backup, and virus protection.
Qualifications
- Proficient in PC hardware and software support
- Proficient in systems hardware and software support
- Microsoft server support knowledge a plus
- Networking configuration knowledge a plus
- Microsoft Hyper V knowledge a plus
- Expert in systems integration and industry best practices
- 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
- Experience with IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures based on Microsoft windows operating systems
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, and data storage systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
