Becker Metal Works, Inc. is in need of a Casting Quality Analyst (full time; one opening) in St. Clair, MI to ensure that investment casting processes, involving various alloys, steels, and metals, meet both internal and external quality standards. Monitor various aspects of the manufacturing process, including design, production, inspection, and continuous improvement. Develop quality control plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Analyze manufactuing processes and implement improvements to reduce defects, improve product quality, and increase production efficiency. Investegate product defects and failures to determine root causes. Develop new testing methods and research new alloys, production methods, and products produced in the foundry industry.Must have a five (5) years of investment casting experience as a Casting Quality Analyst, Foundry Technician, Quality Control Technician, Foundry Application Technician, or related position. The five years of investment casting experience must include experience with CAD Software, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Geiometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Specification Compliance, Casting Process Optimization, Dimensional Inspection, and Defect Analysis. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Must be willing to relocate within commuting distance of St. Clair, MI to work in production facility. Incidental telecommuting permitted.
