Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a DOORS Administrator to work from their Sterling Heights, MI facility.

Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years related experience and Must have Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related. Other technical degrees will be considered with related experience.

Position Requirements:

Administrator for our client's Engineering DOORS Database
Ensure DOORS database attributes remain consistent between modules
Setup new modules for multiple engineering programs
Publish technical documents using IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management - Publishing Document Studio (formerly IBM Rational Publishing Engine)
Create custom view/reports for users
Importing DOORS modules from suppliers
Exporting DOORS modules for delivery to customers
Maintain DXL scripts used for reports
Manage complex permission schemas
Create new user accounts
Liaison with IT department for DOORS related planning and issue resolution
Minimum of 7 years related experience.
Previous experience administrating an IBM DOORS database is required
Previous experience using IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management - Publishing Document Studio (formerly IBM Rational Publishing Engine) is required
Experience writing code/scripts using DXL
Familiarity with MIL-STD-498 documentation is a plus
Must have Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related. Other technical degrees will be considered with related experience
