We are a high-end cabinetry showroom looking for a highly motivated and organized design assistant. We have a full-time opening for a design assistant who is looking to build a long-term relationship and career with the company. The ideal candidate would be sociable, responsible & articulate. We are looking for someone with a strong desire in building their knowledge in cabinetry design and sales. The qualified design assistant needs to effectively communicate with team members & customers and assist in a variety of tasks.
Job Description:
Draft interior spaces on computer program
Assist designers with meetings, designs, pricing, contracts, and ordering
Pricing and ordering products with accuracy
Track material orders and schedule deliveries
Check in received items
Organize showroom samples
Develop business relationships
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Pro Kitchen, Chief Architect or CAD software
Professional, respectful and courteous attitude
Detail oriented with organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Adaptable to changing work priorities and good at multi-tasking
Excellent written & oral communication with interpersonal skills
Background in interior design/cabinetry design is a plus
