The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced in a variety of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks. The Maintenance Person will need to be able to work on-call if necessary, and may be asked to work overtime depending on the time of the year. They should feel comfortable using basic tools and appliances and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities:
-Do repair work in apartments and single-family homes.
-Make repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
-Install light fixtures.
-Remove trash from the rentals, usually for recycling or disposal.
-Maintain and repair appliances.
-Remove excess water from air conditioning units.
-Maintain other building systems, such as heating and cooling equipment, etc.
-Need your own tools.
Having your own transportation with a valid driver's license is a must.
