Requirements:
  • 5 years minimum related work experience working directly with technology or interfacing with technology
  • 3 years of experience working on Salesforce-based technology solutions Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com administration functions, and an understanding of Salesforce Communities
  • Experience in creating and distributing reports and dashboards through Salesforce and Tableau
  • Experience with maintaining and enforcing Salesforce sharing and security through roles and profiles
  • Proven strength in interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements and final work product
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a contextually appropriate manner
  • Exposure to software development methodologies such as

    Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.
  • Proven ability to easily adapt to changes in processes, procedures and priorities Experience building, writing and executing test cases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of business process
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills Preferred
  • Mortgage Servicing experience
  • Basic understanding of Visual Force applications
  • Experience with Service Cloud and Community Clouds

Responsibilities
  • The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for delivering high quality Salesforce-based technology solutions used by business stakeholders, and ensuring the ongoing support and administration of the Salesforce platform.
  • The administrator will deliver configurable solutions in a cost-effective manner at agreed-upon service levels.
  • Salesforce administrators are expected to work closely with the rest of the Information Technology team (IT) and participate in every stage of the development lifecycle, from analysis and design through testing, release and maintenance while adhering to current Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • The administrator works cross-functionally to deliver custom objects, page layouts, flows, alerts, reports, complex dashboards and other functionality according to business needs
  • Works with business personnel to identify ways to improve process execution and achieve strategy through the use of Salesforce and related technology.
  • Reviews Salesforce.com and related technology release notes and education publications, and advocates for features that drive value to both the business and technology teams.
  • Evaluates the overall business need and assists with design and implementation to ensure solutions achieve overall business objectives.
  • Works closely with IT, Operations, and other areas to help design, build, and implement the ideas in the application in both leadership and support roles depending on the subject matter and complexity of the solution.
  • Documents technical information, and writes and executes test scripts and/or manual testing routines for own output and contributes to testing of Salesforce functionality developed by the extended technology team
  • Serves as a liaison between the customer community (internal customers) and the extended Salesforce technology team through which requirements flow.
  • Identifies potential technical problems before they occur and helps implement solutions by thoroughly validating all system changes relative to assigned work.
  • Works with the business technology team as an advocate of the business unit supported.
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true need.
  • Assist internal training department with training courses, training the trainers, and other tasks to continuously improve end user capabilities.
  • Also, as needed work directly with users to expand their knowledge and help troubleshoot issues they may be experiencing in the application
  • Develop and monitor processes that ensure data and process quality in the Salesforce environment.
  • Ensure user set ups are maintained in correct roles and profiles, monitor dashboards and reports for data accuracy, assist management in identifying users not utilizing the application properly, identify and correct issues with user ownership of various Salesforce.com objects such as activities and customers.
