The IT Specialist supports the technological needs of Tyler's employees in the areas of advanced Help Desk issues including hardware and software support. As a member of the IT Projects Team, they will work on the implementation and rollout of specific software and it projects. As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

- Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues related to computers.
- Work with other IT Specialists on special End User Services projects, such as software, hardware or security protocol implementations.
- Provide end-user support for Tyler's internal customers via telephone, email and in-person.
- Document customer interactions and issue resolution using appropriate helpdesk tracking system.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printer related issues.
- Proficient with use and repair of all Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Applications and computer threat detection and removal.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Active Directory, Exchange and Server Operating Systems.
- May be required to lift 30 pounds (servers and other computer related hardware) on a weekly basis and bend and work in restrictive spaces such as under desks.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience/certification.
- Typically requires at least 3 years' IT experience in a business environment, but will consider recent college graduates.
- IT certifications such as MCP, Network+ and/or CCENT a plus.
- Demonstrated or has previous experience installing, configuring and/or supporting operating systems, PCs, printers and other hardware.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced, technical environment.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

- Prior project management or software implementation experience is helpful.
