RPG Developer Job w/ International Services Provider Are you looking for a dynamic iSeries/AS400 RPG Development role with a leading international logistics solutions company that provides full-service international freight forwarding with a global presence? Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced iSeries/AS400 RPG Developer who will support their I.T. Department with applications development, maintenance and support using a combination of RPG III and RPG IV. This position provides competitive salary, health, dental, 401k, paid time off and more. Job Duties:
  • Providing full-cycle RPG development including: planning, programming, testing and implementation.
  • Implementing and troubleshooting complex programming changes and modifications.
  • Identifying problems or potential problems with systems and/or clients.
  • Analyzing, writing and maintaining computer applications in IBM iSeries, RPG IV.

Qualifications:
  • RPG IV programming experience (RPG III & ILE are nice to have).
  • Experienced using Built-In functions & Service Programs / Stored Procedures.
  • Practical experience with SQL.
  • Ability to follow current logic when modifying existing programs.
  • Experience with API and EDI functions within the iSeries system (nice to have, but not required).
  • Logistics/Supply Chain industry experience (nice to have, but not required).
