US SPECIAL DELIVERY HAS AN OPENING FOR A DIESEL MECHANIC IN IRON MOUNTAIN, MI LOCATION
Job Description: As a Diesel Mechanic for U.S. Special Delivery, you will troubleshoot most aspects of a tractor-trailer diagnosing, adjusting and repairing the equipment as assigned by your supervisor. You will strive to fulfill your duties in the most efficient way possible.

Additional responsibilities for the Diesel Mechanic include:
Have skills using all diagnostic tools and resources.
Must be consistently capable of independently analyzing and safely resolving mechanical problems.
Drive trucks in and out of shop before and after repairs.
Clean and maintain work area on a daily basis.
Maintain a high level of productivity.
Perform basic or minor repairs and inspections on brakes, tires, wiring etc.
Perform basic and routine preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers.
Check and change vehicle fluids; transmission, oil, windshield wiper, antifreeze, etc.
Grease mechanical parts.
Additional requirements include: Experience in a relevant role, AC Certified, a plus Valid CDL license or ability to obtain. ( Company Reimbursed ),Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
