We seek an entry-level research lab technician 20+ hours/week to assist in producing test materials for our products.

our first commercial products.
Responsibilities
Process and package sample materials according to standard procedures.
Follow safety procedures and maintain safe lab environment.
Complete and pass related lab workplace training and evaluations.
Recommend process handling and efficiency improvements.
Support related team activities and responsibilities as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Working safely with high-temperature equipment.
Safely handling and accurately measuring lab materials.
College-entry level knowledge of physics, math and chemistry.
High attention to detail and adherence to safe working practices.
Communicating clearly and accurately with team in written and verbal form.
Hours and Wage
Regular working hours between 8am and 5pm ET; occasional after hours may be required.
Hours per week from 20+.
Hourly wage starting at $13 per hour, commensurate with skills and/or experience.
Location
Activities will be conducted at Michigan Technological University (MTU) or an off-campus lab in the local area.
