We Are Hiring: Join our Operations Improvement Team as a Performance Improvement Specialist - Lean Management.
This is a full-time position serving our Ascension Michigan market ambulatory sites. This offers flexibility of working partially remote but will require some travel to our SE Michigan Ambulatory locations. What You Will Do: Facilitate with the development and definition of ideas that will improve the organization.- Evaluate departments and services in an effort to define best practices and encourage positive and progressive change. Remain current on healthcare trends and advances.
- Define financial, operational, and clinical data necessary for evaluating change initiatives.Identify steps, tools, and training necessary to implement a process or structural change.
- Oversee functioning of assigned projects/project teams and for collaborating with executive leadership to access necessary resources. Manage resources, process and quality assurance of projects within scope of responsibility.
- Develop and update the ongoing management plan. Monitor and ensure that detailed project plans, reporting mechanisms, issue resolution processes, and communications are timely and meet quality guidelines.
What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:- Certification specializing in Lean Healthcare Mgmt. preferred
- Project Mgmt Professional preferred
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing preferred
Education:- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degreerequired.
Work Experience:- 3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences: - Clinical experience is not required for this position but a strong understanding of healthcare performance improvement processes is a plus.
- Masters Degree Preferred
