Job Description
As aSoftware Engineer for Bosch, you will focus on helping the vehicle dealers globally gain service readiness for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry.
You will be responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of multi-tiered applications in the automotive services and aftermarket domain that use Microsoft .Net Framework, C# with SQL Server and PowerShell. You will be an integral member of a dedicated team, work with state of the art technologies and partner with internal and external customers.
To find success, you must:- Understand the functional requirements as documented in the form of Use Cases, User Stories and / Requirements document.
- Understand technical specifications for the development and enhancements of .Net applications which are provided by the team lead.
- Receive development and unit testing tasks assigned by the team lead, understand and agree to the development and unit testing time lines.
- Prepare unit test plans for review and approval by team lead.
- Develop, compile and test code. Submit source code and unit test results for review and approval by team lead.
- Work in an offshore delivery environment following either the SDLC or Agile development methodology.
- Address issues as they arise during the QA stage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field required.
- 5+ years ofexperience in analysis, design and development of Web-based, multi-tiered applications with relational databases such as SQL Server or Azure SQL.
- 1+ year of experience in cloud native development preferably with Azure
Knowledge and experience with:
- C# class libraries
- HTML 5
- ASP.net using VS.net
- AJAX
- JQuery
- Database using Enterprise Libraries
- Entity framework
- WCF Web services
- MVC4
- PowerShell
Experience in the following areas:
- Responsive UI development using MVC, Bootstrap, React.js or similar technologies.
- Cloud-based environment.
- MicroServices Development
- CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery)
- Tools for code coverage, software metrics
- SOLR, MongoDB
- Version control using GIT
Must be eligible to work in the US without VISA sponsorship.
Not eligible for internal VA/VN international assignment.
