Job Description GM's Information Technology team is pursuing a Software Development Leader to head an agile development team building streaming data integration \\ data exchange in support of V2X information exchange. The Software Development Leader will be responsible for innovative applications that coordinate EV load management, EV infrastructure coordination, helping accelerate the effort to achieve a cleaner, safer, and more energy efficient future. GM is currently seeking an individual with agile leadership experience and practical knowledge in V2X, including Open Vehicle Grid Integration Platform (OVGIP) standards and smart grid design. The Software Development Leader will manage a cross-functional team investigating opportunities to leverage core data integration \\ data exchange technology in new growth areas. Objectives & Key Deliverables Lead a high-performing, agile development team building distributed data exchange management solutions. As needed to meet evolving demands: hire new developers, reformulate agile teams to match new capabilities, pivot to more promising product areas, balance focus between mobile apps and desktop software. Partner with Product Managers to develop testable hypotheses, rapid prototypes and minimum viable products. Lead the development of innovative shared services, data exchange API's and portals. Data Consolidation, Data Propagation, Enterprise Application Integration, Data Federation. Ensure full compliance with applicable consumer privacy statutes. Collaborate with internal and external partners to evaluate product solutions to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable designs. Collaborate in a team environment and/or take charge of opportunities to develop optimal solutions for customers and development programs. Additional Job Description Required Skills / Experience / Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant engineering field required. Master's degree in computer science or information management. Demonstrated experience leading agile development teams practicing Scrum or SAFe. Demonstrated experience deploying software solutions managing distributed data integration in private\\public exchanges. Demonstrated high level of skills required to effectively lead, motivate, and facilitate others in group situations.
