Maxar is seeking a Radar Algorithm Engineer Scientist to join our team in Ypsilanti, MI. We are a leader in the field of signal and image processing. This is an opportunity to work on an integrated team to build innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities.

What will you be doing?
  • Supporting a multi-disciplinary team in the innovation, development, and evaluation of advanced capability algorithms for signal and image processing.
  • Analyzing, designing, developing, and testing algorithms, demonstrating advanced capabilities and applications.
  • Opportunities include statistical signal processing, moving target detection, autofocus, bistatic, deep learning and Automatic Target Recognition (ATR), electronic warfare (EW), and adaptive array processing.
  • Individuals with interest in any of these or related areas are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Current/active Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or related technology fields.
  • Strong programming skills (C, C, MATLAB, Python, or similar).

Preferred Skills:
  • Current TS/SCI
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Signal and image processing, operational processing experience, system development, and integration and optimization.
