Maxar is seeking a Associate Full Stack Software Engineer in Ypsilanti, MI. We are a leader in the field of signal and image processing. This is an opportunity to work on an integrated team to build innovative software to support users in the defense and intelligence communities.Project:We're building new features (and fixing some bugs) for our specialized radar diagnostic webapps. Our operational web stack includes EmberJS, Spring, and Hibernate running with Tomcat and Oracle. The backend is mostly Java while the frontend makes heavy use of Three.js for 3D visualizations. We need a skilled and versatile developer to help our the team meet the needs of our growing user base.Career:We're very serious about professional development and continuing education. You will work with your direct supervisor, and/or a mentor, to set appropriate goals and design a plan to help you make consistent progress.Day-to-day:You'll be developing specialized diagnostic web apps. These apps are used to identify, analyze, and ultimately correct issues:- Work in a small, multi-disciplinary team with a focus on code quality
- We leverage GitLab, Jenkins and Artifactory for our CI/CD pipeline
- We meet regularly with our customers for continuous feedback on what's working and what isn't
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
