CNC Machinist Trainee - 3rd Shift

Job Description

• Learn to operate CNC machines in an efficient and safe manner

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or fast-paced production setting
• Willingness and desire to make a career and advance with the company
• Experience with Micrometer and Caliper are helpful
• Solid work history and ethics provided on a resume or formal work history
• Ability to work overtime during peak season
• Commitment to being cross trained in multiple areas
• Attendance must be solid
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, package, and sort
• Attention to detail

• Modern shop with 5S, Kanban, ISO, and Just in Time Manufacturing capabilities being fully utilized
• Excellent training and advancement programs with clear paths for advancement
• Clean shop that is very organized and provides all the supplies and PPE required
• Centralized Quality Assurance department to ensure ease of operation and training for operators
• Materials management systems ensure that production and packaging materials are supplied to your station automatically
