MAHUBE-OTWA Community Action Partnership, Inc. Head Start Program is accepting applications Head Start Preschool Center Teacher Assistant for the 2020-2021, in the Mahnomen County. This is a seasonal (40 hours per week), benefited position, September through Mid-May (summer layoff) for preschool.
TITLE: Head Start Preschool Center Teacher Assistant
DUTY STATION: Mahnomen, MN Elementary School
QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: CDA Credential or a state-awarded early childhood certificate, are in enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree in early childhood education, or are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of the time of hire. A current Minnesota Driver’s License. PREFFERED: A Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Early Child Development, Early Childhood, or equivalent coursework.
BASIC FUNCTION: This position provides and exists to assist the center teacher in the delivery of required services to Head Start children and families through classroom activities and home visits. The person in the position adheres to the Agency Standards of Conduct and Agency Values of client focused, community minded and resourceful. Must have the ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of client and agency information and work materials.
