Description
Position at Clear Capital As a key member of the Engineering team, you will assist in cross product software engineering. The goal of this team is to provide tooling, prototypes and support for product teams to ensure that they operate efficiently. In this role you will be writing software and helping to shape the technology decisions needed to support the business goals of ClearCapital. These are the key technologies that we use:- Java, Spring Boot
- TypeScript Node
- React
- AWS (SQS, SNS, S3, RDS, Lambda)
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Work with product teams on designs, standards, documentation, and technology decisions of Clear Capital enterprise software and integrated systems.
- Develop test automation solutions across multiple levels of testing to be used in automated deployments
- Actively engage with Product Owners and technical staff to aid in translating customer requirements into system requirements
- Hands-on contribution to the code base, write high quality, well-tested, extensible and scalable code, especially focused on tooling and utilities that can be used across many teams
- Propose, design, create, and present prototypes, demos and proofs-of-concepts to team members and leadership team.
- Continuously learn and apply industry best practices on modern software delivery practices.
- Expect at least 60% of your time to be spent coding for deployable software.
- Keep a focus on cross-product wins where an improvement in one area can assist multiple teams.
- 10+ years of software development experience with most of our key technologies and experience in large scale B2B or SaaS systems development.
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture, especially Cloud Architecture and design.
- Solid Agile SDLC experience with a passion for software development.
- You are comfortable reading & writing code, can describe what each part of the code is doing, and provide code reviews to team members.
- You are a great communicator, comfortable to interact with your own team members as well as executive team members, and seek constructive feedback on your work.
- You are a change agent, identify opportunities for continuous improvement in technology, process and teams, and propose solutions to be implemented.
- AWS Certified Solution Architect is desirable.
