As a member of this high performing team, you'll use Agile and DevOps delivery methods to improve the security health of our endpoints. As a Sr Engineer on the Endpoint Security Team, you will help ensure Target's endpoints are secure by,- Developing and enhancing applications used to keep our endpoints secure
- Supporting and maintaining products to manage over hundreds of thousands of endpoints
- Researching industry best practices and improving on them
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience with NextGen Antivirus, Endpoint Management tools (IOC/IR, Software Deployment, Drive Encryption, Port Control) Windows and Linux event logging & system monitoring, Network security, IPS and IDS
- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Grafana, PostgreSQL, Beats agents, sysmon
- Experience with GIT, Jenkins/Drone, Artifactory, Chef, Ansible, Puppet
- Experience with Cloud and Containers (Google Cloud Platform/AZURE/AWS, K8's)
- Hands-on experience with one of the following programming languages - Java, Python or Golang
- Builds strong commitment within the team to support the appropriate team priorities
- Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
- Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
- Experience working in an agile environment (i.e. user stories, iterative development, etc.)
