Join our Avionics team today.Role OverviewThis position is for an experienced sales business development professional, overseeing and participating in activities such as bids, trade shows, and customer relationship management. Responsible for representing the company's interests, and building business relationships to enhance sales business development performance.Primary Responsibilities:Commanding understanding of the Military Aftermarket Aerospace Industry and Customer.Ambitious self-starter who can manage competing priorities.Foster positive customer relationship and act as primary business unit focal for communication at the Sensors and Fire Protection level.Evaluate new business opportunities and make recommendations on bid/no-bid decisions.Develops and responds to proposal requests from customers.Attain business growth through new business wins, capturing market share, and finding new mod and upgrade opportunities.Lead and/or support pricing and negotiation strategies that support strategic plan.Lead and coordinate platform pursuit strategy and activities across Sensors and Fire Protection organization and coordinate with Avionics team for synergy opportunities.Harmonize with the Sensors and Fire Protection Military/Helicopter OEM team to coordinate aftermarket strategy and alignment.Proactively monitor market and regulatory changes and communicate strategies to the teams that address and leverage those changes.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience.
