The Pricing AnalystMonday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm on-site.The Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing, communicating and leading the execution of business strategy and profitability through pricing and value-capturing activities. Serving as an effective liaison with senior management, plays a key role collaborating with different internal teams to drive business success. Partners with department managers and the sales team to prepare initial requests for proposal (RFP), optimize pricing, and increase overall profitability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPricing
- Leverage analytical techniques and tools to conduct regular and ad hoc analyses that explain current and past activity, expected trends, and potential effect of change. Present and support findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare professional proposals for client review; understand, apply and update RFPs based on current pricing information or customer changes.
- Responsible for analysis and continued development of pricing intelligence and recommendations.
- Develop pricing solutions in line with overall business strategy.
- Develop and review policies, procedures and processes for pricing-related strategies.
- Participate in live auctions in conjunction with sales team; adjusts pricing strategy as needed to be competitive and position company for project wins.
- Research current costs, new information, or alternative resources to apply the most competitive pricing strategies.
- Monitor ongoing competitively and profitability of pricing strategy.
- Compare and analyze final pricing information to actual post-project data.
- Create Statements of Work based on criteria provided from clients and common practices for installations.
- Champion continuous and measurable improvement to the company s pricing processes.
- Act as pricing expert, developing and presenting recommendations from accurate assessments and/or analysis.
- Managed and report project team utilization and participate in weekly utilization meetings to determine need current and future staffing needs.
- Conceptualize how new business processes and technologies can better support the business environment and pricing needs. Develop and implement new pricing tools and processes as needed.
- Anticipate and understand short and long-term market trends and use this information to develop pricing strategies for optimal gross margin.
- Establish and grow service partner relations
- Review and improve Customer submission materials improving overall Customer presentation and overall display of Our Client.
- Create project contracts from proposal and RFP submission information and oversee the change process and execution with Customer procurement team.
- Assign roles and responsibilities for RFP completion edit!
- Provide project information to Marketing and work with Marketing to update RFP sales documents edit!
- Join Customer facing sales opportunities like operations walk throughs and Customer site visits, potential proof of concept visits
- Trade shows?
- Bachelor s degree in business or related field preferred. Experience may be substituted for part of educational qualifications as appropriate.
- Three to five years of progressive experience in product pricing, management and collaboration with organizational partners preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking. Collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data.
- Excellent time, project management and related organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Superior ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects, adjust to changing workflow and workload accordingly.
- Must be highly motivated and versatile, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, exercise discretion, demonstrate sound judgment, participate as an effective team member, and follow projects through to completion.
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form) clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience.
- Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
- Strong Microsoft Office experience and knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel. At least 2 years of Microsoft Excel experience recommended.
- Be able to communicate and describe Our Client service offerings both verbally and written. In person presentation of services occasionally required.
