Field Labor Sourcing CoordinatorChaska MN, USOur client seeks a qualified Field Labor Sourcing Coordinator to help contribute to our ongoing growth and success. The Field Labor Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for using and analyzing project data, provided by the Project Management Office (PMO), to identify subcontractor labor resources (vendor partners) with the requisite skills to perform each IT deployment project, negotiate the cost for the vendor partner to perform the project, schedule the vendor partner to perform the project and to develop strong working knowledge of the capabilities of and build relationships with our vendor partners.This position is expected to provide feedback to the manager and director regarding vendor partner coverage, the ongoing development of the relationships between Our client and its vendor partners and trends in the business which may impact Our client s ability to perform projects cost effectively while maintaining high customer satisfaction. This individual will use the relationships and knowledge gained to ensure cost-effective deployment of resources benefiting Our client s profitability and to develop efficient deployment strategies and methodologies.Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Data Management and Analysis including utilizing Our client systems and tools to review and understand project requirements, timelines and necessary skill sets; identify potential subcontracted labor resources (vendor partners); prioritize the scheduling requests; and update project informationto reflect scheduled events. Project Negotiation and Vendor Relationship Management including developing strong working knowledge of and relationships with subcontractors; developing efficient deployment strategies and methodologies; negotiating the most cost-effective pricing and at the same time monitoring the capacity of the vendor partner and ensuring good risk management practices; and providing extensive communication with the vendor partners regarding project expectations, timing and pricing.Positive Communication including providing confirmation of finalized project schedules and budgets to internal teams and selected vendor partners; participating in internal project kickoff and closure meetings; maintaining positive working relationships with internal department includingproviding overall feedback to the project management teams and department manager and director including recommendations for continued process improvement.Required Qualifications and Experience: Associates degree or 2-year technical degree in related field Bachelor s degree in relevant field (preferred) or equivalent related experience Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience in Project Coordination, Project Management, Maintenance or industry related field experience Prior experience or familiarity with ERP software applications Broad understanding of technological (LAN/WAN) environments and overall understandingof project skill sets (physical layer, equipment installation, specialty, electrical) and project environments preferred Scheduling, dispatch or routing experience strongly preferred Prior vendor management experience strongly preferred Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite tools with particular focus on SharePoint Excellent negotiation skills Strong verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Ability to accurately track and problem solve Enthusiastic with exceptional organizational skills Ability to prioritize and efficiently manage a significant volume of rapidly changingtasks Any relevant certifications a definite plusFor more information please contact Tom Mazzulla ator Since 1995, iTech Solutions Inc., has been providing IT Consulting and Direct Hire Services to the Insurance, Financial, Communications, Manufacturing and Government sectors with local offices in Connecticut, Minnesota, Colorado, Massachusetts, Tennessee, North Carolina, and New Jersey / Pennsylvania area.
