Lab Technician IIICottage Grove24+ mths-up to $31.00 and hr, depending on experience Volt Technical Resources is seeking a Lab Tech III for a well-known manufacturer in their Cottage Grove Facility.Requirements:Chemical processing experience and willingness to work in an environment where a wide range of potentially hazardous chemicals are handled. You will perform chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment 5 days per week on a rotating shift
  • Follow work instructions documented in procedures while relaying heavily on mechanical aptitude and chemical processing knowledge
  • Collaborating on cross functional teams to conduct experimental runs while maintaining a safe working environment
  • Utilizing strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collect and accurately document data during experimental batches

    - 100% of work day is around chemicals - many proprietary chemicals. "fine chemical processing"
  • .Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
  • Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred. Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.
