We're currently accepting resumes for the Events Coordinator position at Dubh Linn Irish Brew Pub in downtown Duluth.
Dubh Linn Irish Brew Pub has been providing our customers amazing experiences on a number of levels for more than 15 years now.
We are a made from scratch and locally sourced restaurant, an in-house brewery (even growing our own hops), a caterer and host for events, and, of course, a bar. Our full service bar offers over 200 single malt scotches - we have been listed as one of the top 40 Whiskey Bars in the nation - local craft beers, and our own specialty cocktails and shots. Nightly events include Pro Circuit Comedy Shows, Open Mic Comedy nights, Bands, Bingo, Trivia, pool and dart tournaments, and a catered event space for up to 115 people.
Needless to say, we have a lot going on at Dubh Linn and we're looking for the right person to be an that important part of our team.
Below is what we are looking for:
-Preferably someone with Events Coordinator experience in the service industry
-High level of customer service
-Setting up and being available for pub events.
-Seeking potential customers who wish to have retirement parties, bridal parties, holiday parties etc at the pub
-Participatimg in events away from the pub like the Bridal Show etc that will bring groups into the pub
-Notice the details and how they play into making business better
-Will be able to work a variable schedule with some days and some nights including weekends
-The events coordinator needs to set up events with clients and shepherd them through to the event.
-Contact person for pub events, parties, meetings etc
-Requires weekend evenings attending to pub groups when booked.
-Has a proven track record of being self motivated, timely, and accomplished
-This position might include some business to business opportunities
-Preferably an engaging individual who has a great story to tell
-Ability to problem solve difficult situations in a timely manner
