Hartel's Disposal is seeking a full-time M - F Day Shift Maintenance Shop Technician (Mechanic). Hartel's Disposal is a family-owned and operated business serving Duluth and the surrounding area. This position will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment and requires knowledge of vehicle systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform repair and preventative maintenance. PM's to include inspection and adjustment, oil change and
fluid replenishment, lubrication, tire change and basic vehicle electrical work.
Conduct visual inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates will meet the following:
Exceptional attitude and self-motivated to succeed
Strong mechanical acumen
High School Diploma or GED
3 years relevant work experience
Must be at least 18 years of age (21 if CDL holder)
Hold current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License or be willing to obtain
Have good driving record
Possess current Medical Examiner's Certificate or be willing to obtain
Able to lift 75lbs occasionally, have good motor coordination, and work in varying conditions
