Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Writer IV for a contract position with our client in Eagan, MN. Business Overview: Team: EDAPT Project Team User Migration Workstream Purpose: Prepare companyorientated training materials for BI Self-Service tools, GCP Platform Tools, and create user onboarding documents / SOPs Value Proposition/Selling Points (Market place advantages): Enable company workforce to elevate the execution and delivery of its reporting & analytics services Position Overview: Develop a thorough knowledge of tools used at Prime to document the process and write user guides; tools may include, but are not limited to: Google Cloud Platform Tool Stack, BI Self-Service Tools, Onboarding Docs / SOPs Write, edit, review and publish all documentation still in use on a regular rotation to ensure up to date information is communicated appropriately Create new SOPs, DTPs and process flows prior to new client or process implementation or in the absence of necessary materials and distribute appropriately Create and maintain computer or web based training modules, including the creation of Storyboards Ensure learning modules, templates, design style and layout of materials conform to department standards Collaborate with SMEs and trainers to support accuracy in process documentation Participate in larger company projects, product development and implementations to ensure documentation requirements are met Other duties as assigned Experience with computer or web-based training modules Experience with development of procedural documentation Experience in creating training programs Strong aptitude in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and WebEx Strong writing and editing skills Strong process and detail orientation Strong organization and prioritization skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Soft Skills Needed: Self-starter Solid communicator across all media (phone, email, IM, etc) Best vs Average Worker: Is a change agent Performance Measurements: Creation and approval of required training materials
