your life's best work.(sm) The Operations Support Analyst is responsible for monitoring a set of critical API's which support critical provider partner workflows when they see members enrolled in our insurance. We're looking for an energetic and curious individual to join our team to take on the role of monitoring critical activity occurring across our platforms, identify and research abnormal performance, triage issues logged through various channels, and drive continuous process and system improvement You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • System health monitoring: ensuring the ongoing performance of API's maintains stability and meets SLA's
  • Operations project work: support for operational coordination on new intake to operations and maintenance
  • Drive operational improvement: identify opportunities to increase success rate of processing, reducing errors and timeouts
  • API management: identify and resolve issues working with multiple UHC systems
  • Resolve technical processing failures: resolve issues regarding file failures within production environment
  • Identify gaps and defects within the internal systems as well as document and drive resolutions
  • Interacting with various technical teams across UHG to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Perform analysis to evaluate tickets upon receipt and work to conclusion

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or work experience in technical, business or health care related field
  • 1+ years with EMR, HIE, or other provider or clinical data integration systems
  • 1+ years experience with Service Now or like ticketing system
  • Experience using logging and monitoring tools
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite of products

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years experience with SQL
  • 1+ years experience with Health Level Seven (HL7) standards
  • 1+ years experience monitoring Systems (API's preferred)
  • Experience working in UHG
  • Experience with SPLUNK or similar tool
  • Experience preparing performance reporting for business leadership

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
