SDET Consultant (Typescript, WebDriver IO) Must be local to:

  • Minneapolis - St Paul, MN
  • Richmond, VA
  • Plano, Tx
$60.00 - $70.00 / hour pay DOQ 6-12 month Contract with intent to convert to FTE 2 Openings Our long time and close client needs 2 Sr. QA / SDET to join a client facing Scrum Team. This is a large revenue producing cloud application with high visibility within the organization. This platform is on the AWS Cloud with an automation framework that uses WebDriver IO, Mocha, TypeScript, JavaScript. This product engineering division works on highly available web-based, ecommerce, loyalty and other sites / platforms.

  • Proven Software Dev in Test Engineer (coding and testing)
  • Ideally looking for hands-on experience with typescript, JavaScript, WebDriver IO and / or Mocha
  • 80% will be UI Testing and approximately 20% API Testing
  • 70% will be automated testing w/ 30% manual
  • Ability to read / code lightly in C# is ideal ( open to other Object-Oriented languages like Java)

Confidence and proven hands-on experience in answering questions about:

  • Objects, Methods, Classes
  • creation of automated scripts from scratch
  • OOP concepts
  • Loops and iterations
  • Creation of a reversal method
  • Problem solving examples
  • Ability to clearly articulate your approach to manual testing and automated testing process
  • If given some programming snippets, provide answers to scenario-based questions
