Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including processing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, making journal entries, and performing month-end close processes. This role offers a lot of flexibility and the potential for growth within the company.Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Perform month-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements Use accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and take appropriate action to collect them Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure that financial data is organized and easily accessible Assist in payroll processing to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline accounting processes Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations that may affect the company's accounting processes. Requirements Candidate must possess strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is required Must be adept at managing General Ledger Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries is necessary Must be capable of handling Month End Close responsibilities Experience in using NetSuite for accounting tasks is a must Proficiency in Oracle-based accounting tasks is required Experience in QuickBooks for accounting and financial duties is necessary Candidate must be skillful in using SAP for accounting responsibilities Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
