Primary Responsibilities:
  • Able to adapt and rapidly gain a deep understanding of each application deployed in Production
  • Troubleshooting Production issues and driving creative solutions. Find ways to automate and receive alerts via incidents as system and data issues occur
  • Driving and Documenting Root Cause Analysis of Problems experienced by working closely with the Problem management team
  • Work close together with the product and development teams to ensure Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) are complete and ready to be presented to the change management meeting
  • Communicating and managing Production support issues with your consumers. Meet ServiceNow SLAs
  • Ensure Client data is loaded into production systems and meeting Data Intake SLAs
  • Work with the development team to do bug fixes and make improve the platform reliability
  • Demonstrate and continuously develop substantial depth of knowledge and experience with large Databases, incident management systems, Data stage and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system and data issues.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to new emerging technologies
  • Work on a 24x7 on call schedule (once a month)

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ consecutive years in the Data Management profession
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with UNIX shell scripts and commands
  • 2+ years hands on experience with SQL writing queries and RDBMS

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with Spring boot, Spring batch
  • Experience with Kafka, Splunk
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Experience with Datastage
  • Experience with Incident Management
  • Experience with OM monitoring tools
  • Experience working in an Agile environment

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
