Systems / Security Administrator Consultant
Minneapolis - St Paul, MN ( REMOTE ) 6+ month contract w/ opportunity to extend Hourly Rate: DOQOur close and long-term client is looking for a Systems/Security Administrator to assist with a large Security clean up initiative. They have an assessment/audit results with a road map and priority checklist in hand - now need outside consulting help to execute these items. We are looking for a Systems / Security Engineer who has expertise in Servers, DB, firewall, network, cloud and on-prem space. Any vulnerable legacy HW/SW will be replaced / updated / secured.Some activities / experience we are looking for:- Based on vulnerability assessments already created - execute remediation plans
- Documentation - key part of all this. Along the way document everything
- Active Directory ( group policy, etc. )
- Azure Cloud is ideal
- Microsoft Intune ( MDM and MAM )
- Microsoft SCCM
- Solid experience with legacy Windows Server and Client OS's including Mac
- Mass deployments of Apps and OS's ( Windows and Macs ) with MDM solutions would be a plus / ideal, not required.
- Configure security hardening measures on network and server infrastructure
- Patching ( apply to windows, windows endpoints, etc. )
- Outbound firewall restrictions, logging details, etc.
- Okta - nice to have ( or similar Identity tools is ideal )
- Server administration ( Windows required, Linux is nice to have )
- Palo Alto firewalls on-prem and cloud-based firewalls
- Cisco Meraki
- End Point management
- Access Management
- Apple Business Manager
- Post 3rd party Vulnerability scanning and penetration testing activities and remediation planning / execution
- Assist in implementing a multi-factor authentication project
- Install new firewalls and create security policies
- Design new routing applications within core network
- Deploy Network Management Solution to monitor, analyze, and benchmark IT infrastructure
