The Building Services Supervisor is responsible for the operation of the facility housekeeping functions to include cleaning, replenishment and accountability of supplies, scheduling of personnel, evaluation of personnel and reporting of health and safety issues for the Minnesota Veterans Home-Fergus Falls.Minimum Qualifications1 year experience performing custodial or housekeeping work that demonstrates knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment

Lead work or project lead experience

Ability to evaluate cleaning quality

Ability to maintain records

Preferred QualificationsExperience with State and Federal regulations such as Health Department regulations

Housekeeping and custodial experience in a skilled nursing facility

Physical QualificationsThe ability to perform physical tasks including but not limited to moving, transporting, installing, removing variety of items and maintaining a stationary position for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations.

Additional RequirementsThis position requires successful completion of the following:A Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background check will be conducted on all finalists for this position. Finalists must pass the DHS background check.

A Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x-ray) is required prior to employment.
