Responsibilities:
  • Provide Collaborative Nursing Support- including support in the queue, lab follow-up calls, administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work independently; monitor oral medications, maintain spreadsheets, and obtain prior authorizations.
  • Documents nursing assessments and patient teaching in the patient chart. Communicates all pertinent information and any interventions to the physician.
  • Demonstrates awareness of community resources available to patients and assists with referrals if necessary.
  • Manages patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy.
  • Participates in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
  • Other Duties as Requested or Assigned.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current MN Licensure Required
  • Current CPR Certification is Required
  • IV Experience Desired
  • 2-3 Years of Experience, Oncology Experience Preferred
