Description: The county is looking to engage a consultant to perform an assessment of Hennepin County IT’s vulnerability management program and create a plan for a maturing program.

Responsibilities: Project responsibilities include:
  • Create a document in Microsoft Word format that measures the maturity of Hennepin County IT's vulnerability management program.
  • Create a maturity scale preferably based on the SANS maturity model for vulnerability management.
  • The document should also include identified gaps in the vulnerability management program and proposed steps to improve program and close gaps.
  • Create a plan to include recommended software tools, processes, procedures, staffing and review capabilities of current team with recommendations for training/gaps in knowledge and experience.

Required Skills/ Experience/ Education:
  • Experience with NIST cybersecurity framework.
  • Experience assessing a vulnerability management program.
