About the team:

The Application Production Support team (SCE) is a global team (India & US) that is responsible for Decision Solutions applications, with responsibility of:
  • Ticket Management: Requests, Incidents, and Problem Tickets
  • Agile/Project related changes
  • Monitoring - Application and Application Platforms accessed by Decision Solutions across FIS and/or vendor partners.
  • This position will work closely with partnering Service Delivery teams that support Decision Solutions as well. Those team verticals are:
    • Change & Release Management: Decision Solutions (DS) along with Leveraged
    • Software Configuration Management: Decision Solutions Applications as well as 3rd Party Software only used by DS
    • Environment Management: OS Patching coordination, Vulnerability remediation (Nexpose, Qualys and STT-N scans), Performance & Capacity Management]

What you will be doing:

  • Level 1 / 2 support.
  • Ticket Management: Requests, Incidents, and Problem Tickets.
  • Agile/Project related projects/changes (AU related releases/bug fixes)
  • Implementation of Applications and Systems related Monitoring to ensure proactive monitoring/notifications can be escalated.
  • System monitoring]
  • Provides 24 x 7 on-call support for all assigned production-related systems.
  • Interfaces with internal clients, vendors, managers, IT and Product Development to resolve problems.
  • Analyzes problem, documents and communicates resolution and conducts follow up. Escalates problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Represents team on cross-functional teams for production, support and development activities.
  • Interacts with internal departments to deliver solutions.
  • Improve methodologies used in the job.

What you bring:

  • 5 or more years work experience in software quality control, systems analysis, system support, software development or related discipline or 3 or more years as a System Support Analyst II
  • Knowledge of the basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high stress team environment
  • Must be highly flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willing to take on responsibilities and challenges

  • Automation Strategies
  • Decision Solutions Product Suite knowledge and/or similar FIS CIO Service Delivery knowledge
  • Leadership Qualities
  • Experience with FIS standards, processes and procedures (Request, Incident, Problem, Change Management)

Added bonus if you have:

  • Mainframe experience
  • Azure Cloud experience
  • ServiceNow experience
