About the role: Boston Scientific Corporation (BSC) is seeking a Senior IT Manager as a key leader for our Cardiology division, reporting to the Director of Cardiology IT. This is an amazing opportunity for the right leader, combining strategic thinking and team spirit with organized execution. Leading by example, you will support and mentor employee development across the department. You will coordinate with other Managers, helping lead the department to deliver the digital needs of our Cardiology business, which contributes significantly to the growth and profitability of Boston Scientific.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Partner with Cardiology business leadership to own digital solutions that fall within the Sales and Marketing business capabilities
  • Manage numerous sales and marketing projects and programs, leading them from commencement to implementation
  • Serve as the leader of a team of IT analysts, engineers and scrum masters
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business opportunities, needs and issues where the IT organization can make an impact and advance innovative solutions
  • Provide strategic advice to division leadership about best uses of digital opportunities
  • Build local specialized sales and marketing systems as needed for Cardiology, while leveraging broader Corporate IT capabilities whenever possible
  • Serve as an IT business relationship manager to the business and their primary liaison to Global IT services
  • Oversee the health and technical longevity of architecture and applications used within Sales and Marketing
  • Engage IT Leadership team to help accomplish the mission and as a point of escalation
  • Reinforce the importance of quality and ensure appropriate compliance
What we're looking for: Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related area required
  • 10+ years of related professional experience in Information Technology including 6+ years in a managerial position
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with matrixed leadership teams, including Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations and IT to implement technology solutions that enhance the consumer value associated with products and improve the efficiency of our product development processes
  • Strong knowledge of Product Team execution and Agile Development practices
  • Salesforce.com implementation experience across Sales Cloud, Community Cloud and Marketing Cloud
  • Experience delivering innovative solutions leveraging technology and information
  • Senior leadership presence, comfortable presenting and collaborating with Senior Leaders as a Business Advisor
  • Experience working in a Global Organization supporting diverse teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of information systems, financials, contract management, and digital transformation
  • Ability to successfully manage and execute multiple, large scale projects using program and project management best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to synthesize data for crisp understanding
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining highly collaborative, flexible, and productive cross-organization teams
  • Sales Reporting and Analytics experience
