Here, you go.Job Summary:The person hired for the position of Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and growing relationships with end users representing the Personal Safety Divisions product portfolio in a B2B sales environment.This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Grow 3M PSD business through telephone salesAttain set outbound call activity in conjunction with expectations of the Inside Sales organizationEstablishes and maintains customer contacts and relationships. Understands the customers business and applications to influence key decision makersMaintain and update a working Sales Plan with strategies and tactics to achieve annual sales forecastResponds to inbound customer inquiries and warm leads to provide solutions to end usersIntroduces new products, and communicates promotions and value to relevant customers and prospectsDemonstrates a proficient level of procedural and technical product knowledge to identify products that meet customer needsWork to attain sales quota, sales quality and sales productivity metrics (i.e. 30 calls/day)Works with Industrial Distribution when appropriate to grow collective account baseDrive campaigns created from division Marketers to grow new product sales and overall territory growthShares best practices with the team to promote a positive team environmentProficient in identifying market trends and account needs reacting to market activity and reach favorable sales goalsBasic Qualifications:Possess a Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionMinimum of one (1) year of combined sales experience in a private, public, government or military environmentPreferred Qualifications:CRM experience / pipeline managementStrong active listening skillsExperience in selling through distribution channelsExperience in selling into end user companiesInside sales or field sales experience highly desirableThree (3) years technical sales experience, preferably with Personal Safety ProductsExcellent oral and written communication, including presentation skillsExperience leveraging social sales tools/processes (LinkedIn, Webinars,)Ability to work in a high volume, rapidly changing environmentAbility to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate and compromise, including team leadershipStrong active listening skillsPC literate, including Microsoft Office products and Saleforce.comStrong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on tasksGood interpersonal skillsLocation: Maplewood, MNTravel: May include up to 10%Relocation: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Equal Opportunity Employer minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
