Job DescriptionSeeking a Cloud Security Engineer for the Data Center Support team located in Maplewood, MN.
Job Summary:The person hired for the position of Cloud Security Engineer - Azure will be collaborating with and supporting out technology teams in the engineering, operations, management, and support of cloud-based platforms and solutions. Cloud duties will primarily be in Azure, but candidate will also be exposed to AWS network and security constructs. In addition, the position will support day to day policy changes and updates of existing On-Prem enterprise CheckPoint UTM s.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Support MS Azure deployments including VM, VNet, Azure Firewall . Build partial stack components for Azure resource deployments. Work as a member of an engineering / operational support team. Candidate will participate in architecture planning, design, and implementation in the Azure cloud. Support On-Prem legacy Checkpoint firewalls. Policy updates and trouble shooting. Support CheckPoint Cloudguard in the AWS environment Participate in a rolling 24/7 on call schedule.Basic Qualifications: (AS) in Computer Networking degree Minimum of two (2) years of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Azure and / or AWS Cloud solutions Experience with Checkpoint firewall appliances. 2+ years of experience in infrastructure systems design and engineering (Linux or Windows) Proficiency in at least three of the following: ARM, CFT, Python, PowerShell, JSON, YAML Working knowledge of the TCP/IP networking, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common Internet services/protocols such as DNS, LDAP, HTTP. Knowledge of modern software configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, Jenkins) Experience working Agile methodologies or working as part of an Agile teamFamiliarity with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, SOC-1&2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, ITAR, CJIS and FDAVacancy expired!
